Welcome to Sydney Lung Screen, a rapid access lung nodule clinic based in Sydney’s Inner West, located within Strathfield Private Hospital. Founded by respiratory physicians, the clinic was established to improve the care and management of patients with lung nodules and suspected lung cancer in collaboration with Lumus Imaging and Strathfield Private Hospital. Our team of specialist respiratory physicians is committed to delivering timely, efficient, and expert care. This service is particularly vital as new national lung cancer screening guidelines come into effect across Australia in July 2025.
We offer a streamlined, one-stop approach to diagnosis and management. With Lumus Imaging conveniently located on site, patients have immediate access to advanced imaging, specialist consultations, and coordinated care—all under one roof. Our goal is to reduce delays, improve outcomes, and maintain clear, open communication with both patients and referring clinicians throughout the entire diagnostic and treatment journey.

We aim to support GPs by simplifying the referral process and ensuring that patients do not fall through the cracks of a complex healthcare system. By catching cancers early, we not only improve survival but reduce the emotional and physical toll of late-stage disease.
Referrals can be made directly to Sydney Lung Screen or through Lumus.
